2023 Senior Anthony Bleyer | SPORTS EDITION

Welcoming back this well rounded senior, Anthony Bleyer! He is a senior this year at Mount Carmel High School!

Which Sports, Future Plans, & Favorites

Anthony is a member of both the Mount Carmel Golden Aces Cross Country team and Track & Field team! He is also a member of the Marching Aces! He says his favorite sport is Cross Country because it really tests his will power and it can be therapeutic on longer runs!

Anthony started running in Cross Country competitions when he was just 11 years old!

He shares that he plans to continue to run into his college years and may even compete in Track & Field at the collegiate level!

Inspiration & Memorable Moments

Anthony shares that his inspiration is Gehrig Jones because he is a fast runner and a "super cool dude".

A memorable time for Anthony was Regionals during his freshman year! It was pouring down rain and freezing!

Best Record & Most Challenging

Anthony says his best record is 18.10 for a 3 mile run!

The most challenging thing about his sports is the mental fortitude you need to build to be able to run the miles that they need to run!
