Mr + Mrs Bell Wedding | October 8, 2021 | Indianapolis, Indiana
Meet the new, Mr. & Mrs. Bell!
When It All Began...
Hannah was visiting the Bay Area for work when a mutual friend invited them both out for dinner. A couple more bi-coastal dates (New York visits, Santa Cruz, meeting in Las Vegas) and they were official and in love! English boy living in California meets Hoosier girl living in NYC. Both were working in the tech field and had many coworkers/friends in common! Alex actually made the first move...through LinkedIn! A career based website turned matchmaker! Hannah tells us that sparks flew the first time but they new it was something special when Alex visited Hannah in New York for a weekend early in the relationship!
Alex & Hannah were in Turkey on vacation for a month. While they were there is when Alex decided to propose so through friends that they had made there he was able to custom design a ring in time to pop the question before they left! They went back to their original hotel they'd stayed at and befriended all the staff. They made an incredible off the menu meal and made them feel like celebrities as they dined in a candle-lit cabana over looking the ocean (dreamy!!!)! The ring was in a chocolate cased dessert that Hannah cracked open at the end! Surprisingly, she wasn't expecting a thing!
The Forever Date
The couple chose Friday, October 8, 2021 as their forever date. They knew they wanted a fall wedding and the 8 means forever as the infinity symbol!
The Wedding Party
The Beautiful Ladies
The Handsome Men
The song the couple shared their first dance to was (I want to be) Close to You by the Carpenters. They chose this song because it is one that they used to sing to each other early in their relationship. They love the simplicity of the lyrics.
Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue...
Hannah's something borrowed & blue was a pair of her mother's sapphire earrings she received as a first anniversary gift from Hannah's father. New sparkly boots for Hannah to walk down the isle in and her something old was a handkerchief of her grandmother's.
