Meet the NEW Mr. & Mrs. Hadra!

When It All Began
Kaleigh & Elijah are high school sweet hearts! They met in high school, although they had known of each other for years through family and friends. Kaleigh was a year behind Elijah in school so he went off to play football and they had to do long distance for a year, but then he came home and they did college together! Kaleigh shares that they really grew up together and became who they are now with each other! They really are BEST friends! Elijah asked Kaleigh out for their first date to get ice cream at Dairy Dee! The couple shares that they don't remember the exact time that the 'sparks flew' but there were a lot of little moments that sparkled. They both knew early on that they were the ones for each other and they would end up married!

The Proposal
Elijah popped the question on Valentine's Day 2021. He had been waiting for the perfect time to propose since he'd bought the ring in August, but every time he was planning on doing it something would happen or get in the way. Finally, he felt it was time and quickly texted her family that he was going to do it while he was on the way to her house! Kaleigh had no idea what was going on and was a little upset at him because she thought he was throwing a wrench into their plans and talked her out of going to church and going to brunch instead! Little did she know, she met him out in the driveway and watched him get down on one knee! Kaleigh was in complete shock and didn't have the reaction she always dreamed she would have! BUT, she shares, that it was all so sweet and she wouldn't of wanted it to be any other way!

The Wedding
Their Song
Elijah & Kaleigh chose At Last by Etta James for their wedding song. They chose this because the theme of their wedding was elegant & classy. They thought the song fit so well and loved it because they finally "at last" were married and the day they've been waiting for had arrived!

Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue
Kaleigh's something old was a piece of her mom's wedding dress wrapped around her bouquet and her great, great grandma's wedding band! Something new was her wedding dress. Something borrowed were her earrings & something blue was a blue bird charm from her friend, Janet, but they had trouble getting it to stick in the bouquet so last minute before the ceremony she slipped a blue sequin from her Mini's dress into her glove!
