Meet Kayla and Ryan Baker

When their love story began...

Kayla and Ryan first knew each other by going to the same high school. Ryan tried to talk to Kayla for years before they started dating but Kayla pushed him off. Until one day, Ryan made the first move and messaged her through Instagram and that is when it all began. They have now been together for over 5 years.

The One

Sparks flew the first night we hung out after my sophomore year Santa switch when we hung out at a friend's house for the first time! Ryan knew Kayla was the one after he first kissed her. Kayla knew Ryan was the one instantly. He asked what her goals were in life which motivated her to reach those goals right from the get-go. He has always made her feel special and still does.

The Proposal

Ryan proposed to Kayla on Christmas Eve. They went to the Christmas service at church and then came home and did Christmas at his house with his family and he surprisingly popped the question! They chose May 15, 2021, as their forever date.
