Mr. & Mrs. Fuller | September 18, 2021

Meet the new Mr. & Mrs. Fuller!

When It All Began...

Carly met John after going with her best friend, Lexi, to pick up John and his friend from a bonfire. The two of them weren't able to pinpoint who exactly made the first move; it was very mutual. They haven't gone a day without talking to each other since the night they first met and have been together for five years now. Carly says it has been the easiest five years of her life.

The Proposal

Carly knew that the proposal would be happening soon after John kept asking her about rings a couple of weeks before. It was a Thursday evening when John asked Carly to go on a drive when he got home from work to check on a field he had spread fertilizer in a week before. This was nothing out of the ordinary for him to ask to do. The three of them were out in the field looking at the corn when Carly turned around and saw John on one knee. Even though she knew it would be soon, she had no idea it would happen then and was completely surprised. Carly says it was the perfect night, and she was so happy it was just the three of them.

The Forever Date

They chose September 18, 2021 as their forever date. Carly chose that day because she knew that she wanted a September wedding because that time of year is gorgeous in southern Illinois!

The Handsome Men

Their Song

John & Carly shared their first dance to I Cross My Heart by George Strait. They chose this song because they love to go for Sunday drives & listen to country music!

Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue...

Carly's something new was her wedding band! This is special to her because it is the piece that unifies their marriage! Something old was a marquois ring of her grandmothers. Something blue & borrowed was a pair of earrings that two of her best friends, Shantel & Mady, also wore on their wedding days. Carly carried on wearing them in hopes that Lexi will someday wear them on her wedding day as well!
